WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT THE
ANAHATA EXPERIENCE

  • What an experience it was. I enjoyed every second of it. Actually, I did not want it to end. The way it was all so organize, not a minute went to waste. I learned much and not only Yoga. Our togetherness, our sisterhood, all made me feel fulfill. I loved the hotel, my room in nature my outdoor bathroom and my hammock in the front. All together made me feel full of love and gratitude.

  • Felt like a dream.... Anahata’s journey took us through this sacred part of the world that led us to see ourselves and the mystical parts of life. I met friends that now we have a very common bond: Our experiences through the Colombian jungle together. I highly recommend these retreats as a means for spiritual richness and growth.

  • To the sexiest, most mystical jungle, where we had the sweetest flow, swam in waterfalls, climbed mountains, met the real avatars, and saw the ocean meet the river.

  • This is a "Mamo", which the Wiwa's, an indigigenous tribe of the Sierra Nevada, consider to be their spiritual leader. Their lives differ from the rest of the men in their tribe in many ways, but one way stood out to me most. Our translator was explaining that the Mamo's don't see nature as "Mother" Earth. When he began my instant internal reaction was defensive. I thought, "what?! Of course she's 'Mother' Earth! she gives us life!" He procedeed to explain that mothers give everything for their children. Mothers give with no limits. They give without holding back. We take and take from our mothers; we milk our mothers dry. Mothers would die for their children. So instead, Mamo's view earth as a sister, because a sister gives but you respect her boundries. You take but you give back! You use your resources without abusing. You accept her gifts and you protect her. I took this lesson with me in my heart and I hope you will now carry it in your too.

  • It was amazing! These last days were magical, spiritual, heart opening and so much more. I learned so much from you guys and the beautiful souls that accompanied us on this journey. The magical places we went to allowed us to reconnect with nature! The yoga was physically exhausting and mentally calming. And each activty was planned to perfection. I chanted, I laughed, I cried, and I enjoyed every single momento. It could not have been better. From the bottom of my heart Thank You!

    Michelle P. May 2019

  • My eyes and heart are wide open, seeing with new light. I am so grateful for our time together in the jungle, on our mats, dancing barefeet in the sand, cascading under waterfalls, floating down rivers, engaging with the spiritual, and connecting deeply with Mother Earth. Thank you to our teachers for guiding us through a magical journey. May our hearts and eyes find the same light at home and share it with those around us in our everyday. Love you all! Namaste.

  • What can I say... I came here with a broken heart. And it's still shattered. But 1 know I will be ok. I know I have the strength within me and I found a sisterhood and a community. Thank you shayne and Adri. What I'm taking away is an awareness... a way of eating, living, loving and being. Andi, Neugarten Mexico 2022

  • Signing up for this magical yoga retreat was one of those random, intuitive choices I made. Little did I know that not only was the yoga part going to be AMAZING, but the place, the food, the trips, the spiritual connection, and most importantly the wonderful people I shared this experience with and their energy would make it so perfect and exactly what I needed.

  • Shayne, you are a true visionary, with that perfect balance of leadership and sensibility. And a magical dragonfly that twist into a pretzel like there is no tomorrow. Adriana, you are the force to be reckoned with, a mind that is so deeply focused and with the gentle touch of a magic wand that makes things happen.
